Simone Gisela Weber ist Choreografin, bildende Künstlerin und Performerin. Im Jahr 2025 war sie Artist in Residence an der Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. Family Affair (AT) ist ein Versuch, einen Prozess der Zusammengehörigkeit und Intimität einzufangen. Zwei Schwestern und ein Sohn, beziehungsweise Neffe, übernehmen gemeinsam die Aufgabe, dieses Experiment in einem Rollenspiel zu inszenieren. In diesem Spiel geht es um Schwesterlichkeit, Fürsorge und nonverbale Kommunikation. Es ist ein Versuch, den kreativen Prozess als Spiel und das Spiel als kreativen Prozess zu verstehen.
